Emily Schmookler

Emily is the founder of Joyful Me Healing, supporting others on their healing journey and encompassing all her modalities of eastern teachings. Her passion to help others heal through sacred Eastern medicines deepened  as she integrated Yoga, Ayurveda and western medicine in treating her own endometrial cancer. She’s has been teaching yoga for 12 years starting in Berkeley and spreading her teachings throughout the country. She is a key creator of content and curriculum rooted in Ayurveda, Yoga and Pranayama for 200-hour and 300-Hour Teacher Training Programs for yoga schools for the last 10 years of her career. She is a 500-Hour ERYT Ayurveda Yoga Teacher and a 650-hour Ayurvedic Health Counselor from Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. She’s a Reiki healer and became an Ayurveda Practitioner through Boston Ayurveda Inc. school in the fall of 2022. She is dedicated to uplifting individuals who seek a healthier, active and balanced lifestyle, believing simple nutrition, movement, breath and meditation can be accessible to everyone. When she’s not working with clients or in the studio, you can find her walking her sweet shihtzu pup, Shiloh and enjoying connection with family and friends.
