Tell us a little about yourself, Brett.
I am a 42 year old nurse, father of two boys, I enjoy driving cars. I am a pediatric ICU nurse and I have been working in nursing for about 10 years.
What is your all-time favorite book, movie, song, artist, or piece of artwork?
Allison Hueman (artist). I discovered the artist Hueman on the wall of a cannabis dispensary. She is a local artist from Oakland who has a risen to become an international star, I love her use bright colors and interpose images often of human beings.
What do you love the most about practicing yoga?
The creativity to build a custom practice, to exert as much or as little effort as you wish each day

I am a cannabis enthusiast
What is your favorite quote, or your favorite piece of advice?
Memento Mori. I like this because it reminds us that each day is precious and our lives hold meaning because we never know when we could die. I find a lot of overlap of that in yoga.
